May 8th, 2008 - The dock is in the lake.

The ice is continuing to melt. It should be good very soon. The dock is now in, and some of the boats are starting to get loaded in. We are still posting new pics daily in to the photo gallery and to the window on the right of this news.

May 6th, 2008 - Ice is melting fast

The ice is starting to melt fast. It should be gone very soon. The bays are starting to open up and what ice is left is very dark. Horseshoe, Rose & Tulip are all pretty clear. Their ice should be gone by the end of the day. The sun is starting to shine, and a little bit of a warmer wind is blowing. We will keep you updated as things change.

May 3rd, 2008 - Ice is melting more and more

The edge of the lake is clear of ice. Should only be a matter of time before the rest of the lake is ice-free!

May 2nd, 2008 - Still lots of ice

The ice is starting to break up more around the edge of the lake, but there is still lots of ice in general on the lake. Sun & rain are in the forecast for the next few days with temperatures above freezing.

May 1st, 2008 - OPEN FOR 2008! ... but the lake is still frozen!

The ice is still on the lake. It appears to be thinning. We are starting to get a bit of open water near the shore but it is re-freezing each night. As soon as the ice melts, we will let you all know. Thanks for the phone calls and we look forward to seeing you all soon! We also are going to try and update the photo on the main page as often as possible. Today we uploaded a photo taken this morning of the ice still on the lake.

Apr 23rd, 2008 - Ice Off

The lake is still frozen. We expect it to come off sometime in the next little while. Stay tuned for more updates.
